The Institution of Safety Engineers (India) – ISEI successfully organized the ISEI Excellence Award 2025 at Hotel Babylon International, VIP Road, Raipur. The prestigious program was aimed at recognizing and honoring individuals, institutions, and industrial organizations for their exemplary contributions in the fields of Safety, Health, Environment (SHE), and Disaster Risk Reduction.
A Program Dedicated to Safety & Sustainability
The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a Safety Pledge, symbolizing ISEI’s unwavering commitment to workplace safety and societal well-being. The program was organized under the central theme:
“Accident Prevention | Green Environment | Safer Community”
This theme reflects ISEI’s mission to promote safe workplaces, environmental sustainability, and resilient communities.
Chief Guest’s Address
The Chief Guest, Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Hon’ble Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Government of Chhattisgarh, congratulated the award recipients and appreciated their dedication toward safety excellence. Addressing the gathering, he stated: “The true progress of any state is closely linked to the health of its citizens and safety at workplaces. Institutions like ISEI play a vital role in building an accident-free, safe, and aware society.”
He further lauded ISEI’s continuous efforts in accident prevention, environmental protection, and minimizing losses during disasters.

On this occasion, Dr. S. Rampuri, Trustee and Senior Representative of ISEI, shared detailed insights into the institution’s ongoing initiatives. He highlighted that ISEI has been consistently working for several years in the areas of industrial safety, occupational health, environmental protection, and disaster management.
He further informed that ISEI regularly conducts training programs, technical seminars, and awareness sessions across the country with the objective of preventing accidents and promoting safe work practices. He reiterated that ISEI operates with the core mission of:
